"Figurative art is very traditional. It is an art style that is loved by many. These paintings are usually inspired by a certain pose that I see...a picture in a magazine or even another painting. But lately especially my wife and daughter are my biggest inspiration. I just start painting with no idea of how the end result will look like. I direct the colors on the canvas until the moment that I look at the painting and think anything extra will ruin it. I prefer to use canvas for these paintings because it expresses the same vulnerability as the subject."
